General information
Jen Hoeprich CD(DONA), CCCE: I graduated from NAU in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in women’s studies. I am certified in Level One Reiki Therapy. I am a certified doula through Doulas of North America (DONA) and am also a certified childbirth educator through Childbirth And Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). I am currently a student midwife with Freedom and The Seed home birth midwifery and should be a licensed home birth midwife by 2010. I belong to The Arizona Midwifery Institute, ADOBE, Nurturing Hearts Birth Services and Supported Birth of Arizona. Leigh Steele: I graduated from Ottawa University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in communication. I was trained as a birth doula through a DONA-certified birth doula course and Nurturing Hearts Birth Services. I am a member of Citizens for Midwifery, Nurturing Hearts Birth Services, and am a board member and of the Arizona Birth Network.
