Kathryn Evans, Executive Director of Church Housing Corporation, brings her experience in senior housing to a new middle income senior housing complex: Barclay Gardens. Barclay Gardens is an exciting new type of senior housing will allow seniors to age in place gracefully with financial peace o
f mind. Many of today's seniors are not able to afford the $2,100-$5,000 per month for an independent living facility. Barclay Gardens speaks to this financial burden with a $500-$600 monthly maintenance fee and a one time market rate entrance fee. Barclay Gardens' experienced management team will provide supportive services to our residents as they age in place. We will have an on-site social worker who will assist with paperwork, answer health insurance questions, coordinate care when returning from a hospital stay or rehab, create safety plans, and interface with outside providers. We will also have visiting nurses, safety checks for our vulnerable seniors and make adaptive accommodations to our units as the needs arise. Barclay Gardens is an alternative 55 and over living option catering to middle income seniors.
