The Next Chapter is completely remodeled and back, with a little different focus. We are now doing Mid term rentals, month to month. We are actively seeking professionals, especially traveling nurses. We are here to help any LEO’s, Firefighters, EMS, ect… who need a place to live for a short period. Contact us, let us see if we can be of service.
We are listed on Furnished Finders , Travel Nurse Housing.
Still doing what we do, just a little different.

Hey everyone, here’s what we’ve been up to. Awhile back, my Dad, was admitted to hospital. While he was there, I talked to a couple of his nurses, who both happened to be traveling nurses. One in particular, knew about the Next Chapter, and wished it was set up for longer stays. This prompted us to look into the possibility of making the Next Chapter, more accommodating , for this occupation.
Over the winter, Jeff Wilson , and Legacy Builders, came in and customized a closet, and added washer/ dryer. And, to make things even better, we received a letter from our internet provider, offering a special to run cable to the cabin. So, in other words we’ve been busy.
Very, soon we will be listing, to provide housing for travel nurses, needing housing in the area. And, to answer some of our loyal visitors, we will, diligently work to make your get away place available as much as possible.
We have had so many, positive responses from our followers in the medical community, which is our largest group. Help us, spread the word, that if they are a traveling nurse, and are being assigned to this area. We will be available very soon!!

Good Morning!!! First let me apologize for being so far behind on posting updates. We have been very busy, keeping everything up and going on the farm, and with the addition of new grandchild our days have been full.
The Next Chapter, was called into service as a long term rental, in helping a young couple as they move into married life and move into Surry County.
As we move forward we will keep you updated as we actively work on reopening. At this time, we cannot put a firm date, but we will diligently work to keep everyone informed.
Thank You to all that have hung with us, we are looking forward to seeing our loyal fans, and meeting new people in the near future.
