Many of you have been asking about how Mike is doing. Mike has a genetic kidney disorder called FSGS that has caused his kidneys to fail rapidly over the last couple of years. After 2 years on dialysis, he is being referred to Keck Medical of USC for a kidney transplant. We start the initial evaluation next month. We’ll keep you all updated along the way.

Mike will continue to make your favorite beers as long as he can. Thank you to the volunteers that have helped on brew days with the heavy lifting.

So we now deliver really nice cakes with partially open boxes in the rain. Please notice how clean the seatbelt that’s all up against the cake box is. And the seat it’s sitting on too. Because a beautiful cake deserves to be transported in a super clean vehicle.
