The THIRD SEASON of the hit Cooking Channel series Cake Hunters is now casting!

We're looking for couples, families, and groups of friends that have a party planned, and are looking for the perfect cake.

Your wedding, birthday party, anniversary, shower, bar/bat mitzvah or bachelor/bachelorette party could be featured on the show -- and three magnificent bakeries will compete to be the one to make your delicious dessert.

Cake designers will present our couple/family/friends with a tasting and a design. After they have had a chance to try all three, and look over the designs, they will choose one to make the cake of their dreams -- all in time for the big event.

We'll be scheduling Skype interviews with interested parties throughout September and October. To be considered, and for more information, e-mail me ([email protected]).

TWO NEW CASTING CALLS:

Project #1) BOAT BUYERS FOR TRAVEL CHANNEL

Simple Alien and Michael Petrella Casting have teamed up to cast a new series for Travel Channel. We're seeking first-time boat owners -- the boat, their families, as well as the boat dealership will be featured. The project has been picked up for series.

Anyone that's purchased a boat in the last twelve months is encouraged to submit their information.

Project #2) HOME RENOVATION SHOW

Simple Alien and Michael Petrella Casting are seeking a family that's hoping to renovate their homes, maximizing their usable space. The work will be completed by on-screen talent from a cable home improvement network (which has asked to remain confidential at this time).

We're seeking people who live west and south of New York City (between Manhattan and Long Beach Island, New Jersey), who are hoping to renovate their homes, and would like television talent to do it before this winter.

We're looking for some California-based individuals and families who want their pets to get a psychic reading -- no dog is too fussy; no cat is too lazy; no alpaca is too stylish -- for a fun new show. All are welcome, and our host can connect with any and all types. Dog, cat, and exotic pet owners are encouraged to get in touch.

NEW CASTING CALL:

I'm seeking small businesses, run by groups of friends or family. Our host is both a business expert and a psychologist -- able to fix the issues that plague businesses, and those that run them. In short, when the business goes through tough times, so do the relationships behind them -- even best friends and siblings begin to have fractured relationships.

Our series aims to mend both fences simultaneously, and I'm confident that we've found the perfect host for the project. She's based in Portland, but will be traveling nationwide to help those in need of her services.

If you know anyone in San Francisco that would like to be involved -- we're filming a fun project the first week of January. It will not be for air -- we're using it to demonstrate format, and it'll be a hell of a good time. Our host, Virgie Tovar, is a wonderful, wonderful lady who runs some really fun camps and seminars to help people with larger bodies love their size, rather than feel ashamed of them. She has some really cool stuff planned for the shoot, and we're excited to be making a show that will benefit not only the attendees but, eventually, the viewers.

A new series hosted by a well-known body-positive s*xpert is currently casting couples who have a story to tell about their size and their s*x lives. Whether one partner is larger than the other, or both are heavy, couples who are open about s*xuality, and the things standing between them and the love life they desire, are encouraged to submit their stories.

With a fun and engaging conversation, we'll explore the world of plus size love -- and the emerging businesses that are increasingly interested in appealing to people with larger bodies.

Whether hurdles are internal (not feeling s*xy because the fashion choices are limited) or external (differing body types makes certain positions difficult), everyone will feel loved, engaged, and will leave the day-long retreat loving their bodies.

Filming is January 7th in a kick-ass SF location, and there are several networks anxious to bid on the project once it's completed.

TWO NEW CASTING CALLS:

A major cable network is seeking participants for a new and exciting opportunity to tackle a grueling course while battling against some of Mother Nature's toughest weather. Active hikers, survivalists, adventure lovers, and thrill-seekers are encouraged to get in touch.

Participants will be challenged to make it from Point A to Point B during inclement weather. We're seeking people willing to take on the challenge -- and confident that they can navigate through tough terrain and tricky weather. In some instances, they may be driven by their past experiences living through a hurricane, blizzard, or mudslide. In other instances, they're hoping to prepare themselves for a worse-case survival scenario.

We will be scheduling short Skype or Google Hangout interviews with those who are interested.

We're also seeking a host for a new cooking competition show. Candidates will have some cooking credentials and will be at ease interacting with people of all backgrounds -- even those who are currently incarcerated.
