Two new "emergency rules" have been approved which now make Kauai more accessible to trans-Pacific (from US mainland or other countries) travelers as well as inter-island (between Hawaiian islands) travelers. Our favorite island, Kauai, will be locked back down starting Dec 2. All visitors will be required to quarantine for 14 days, regardless of COVID-19 testing status.
Please consider signing the petition in the link below, requesting Governor Ige to rescind his approval of this "opt out".

Not only does this immediately negatively impact the business owners on Kauai and the short term rental owners, it could have a long term impact on the future of tourism in Kauai.
