The vacation season is right around the corner and we hope all our friends and former guests are doing great! We have made a few upgrades to the house this year including reupholstering of the huge sectional, new dishwasher, microwave and clothes dryer. We now also added a pool table in the game room. We hope that everyone has a safe and amazing summer vacation at the Fire Escape or anywhere else your family escapes to!

Speaking of land in Port Aransas, here's a reminder: Property tax payments are due one week from today in Nueces County. That's Friday, Jan. 31.
They can be paid through a variety of modes, including in person at the Nueces County Tax Assessor-Collector's Office at Port Aransas City Hall.
