Throwback Thursday: Pictured many years ago, anglers line a now-defunct pier that was connected to the (still-existing) south jetty in Port Aransas. This photo was provided by the Port Aransas Museum, an institution that’s full of local history. Located at 101 E. Brundrett St., the museum is open Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. An exhibit on the Port Aransas Tarpon Era is on display.
