It may be a secret too well kept that Utah has some of the coolest dinosaur specimens and historic sites.
..And paleontologists are STILL uncovering more! Here are our do's and don'ts to "doing the dino thing" with your little ones:
THE DO'S
- Take the Dinosaur Diamond Highway: Enjoy a 500-mile journey through dinosaur homelands.
- Visit the Prehistoric Museum: Watch real paleontologists at work and meet the raptors that call Utah home.
- See the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry: A must-visit for any dinosaur enthusiast.
THE DON'TS
- Don't touch the specimens: Help preserve history for future generations.
- Avoid overbooking your day: Give your family enough time to explore and enjoy the sites at a relaxed pace.

Filmmakers and Film Fans, get ready for Utah’s brand new film fest and film competition - The Carbon Shortcuts Project!
What is it? - A short filmmaking fest to celebrate 100 years of Film in Utah. Featuring 10 local 10 minute films.
Where is it? - The Rio Theater 210 S. Main Street in Historic Helper Utah during The Helper Arts Fest August 2024.
When is it? Film Showcase & Judging is Friday, August 16, 2024 - 7pm.
The Film Award Show is Saturday, August 17, 2024 - 4pm.

Big John, Helper, UT
You've heard of Paul Bunyan, but have you heard of Big John? Standing tall since the 1960's, Big John was named after the Jimmy Dean song "Big Bad John".
