Based in Princeton, Plutonian Productions works to give musicians, actors, and artists in central New Jersey opportunities to gain exposure as well as explore their creativity. The company involves both amateurs who wish to gain experience, as well professionals who would like to delve into their craft in a less conventional way. Founded by Westminster Choir College graduate Rachel Benoit, the com
pany launched their first production at The Ivy Inn in Princeton in 2011. Hollow: A Rock Cabaret was a Halloween themed show that featured an eclectic mix of music that was interpreted by a four piece rock band and acted out on stage by seven performers. Their second show (Turning the Tip: A Burlesque Circus Sideshow) opened in 2012 at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts. Plutonian Productions has also collaborated on several other productions, and has produced small performances and flash mobs.
