SUP's, rafts and canoes are hitting the water with these warmer temperatures and we want to make sure everyone knows the state requirements to recreate safely.
1) Carry a properly fitting US Coast Guard-approved wearable life jacket for each person on board and the life jacket must be readily accessible.
2) A boat less than 39 feet 4 inches long, must carry a whistle or a compressed air horn. It's easy to attach a whistle to a life jacket! Both are required equipment.
Be safe and go recreate!
