We’ve been pretty quiet on social media lately but things have been booming in real life.

For those of you who don’t know, half of the livetinyNC crew lived in Charlotte until last month but the gang is officially all together 🎉 The brawn and the boss aka Kody and Rachel along with their son Lincoln (+3 dogs and a bunny) moved into Niki & Dave’s renovated farmhouse in Raleigh.

Springtime on the farm is busier than expected with all the new babies, so the sisters have been tackling that side of things (follow us at Gilded Grove) while the misters have been killing the game.

Now that the plumbing is complete, we can begin working on the shower!

As this is our first tiny house build {and at 20’, a pretty small tiny at that} we’re having a hard time deciding what things to/not to compromise on. Due to it being a vacation rental, building to suit is not really an option.

That leaves the 4 of us, with our widely differing opinions 😆 to decide what’s important and what’s not.

So... we present to you... a full sized walk-in shower in a very, very tiny house. To put it in perspective, it’s more than a third of the size of the bathroom itself 😂

Guess we’ll find somewhere else to compromise!

We found a couple small leaks during the first pressure test 🙄 And now we know plumbing putty > plumbing tape 😅 If that’s the only mixup, I’d say the guys did a damn good job plumbing this entire house themselves!

Took the littles up to the land yesterday to get some measurements for our space. We can’t wait to make this place an oasis for families to come together 💖
