Man that one that lasted year and years on top of its game, getting miles and miles on it, winning countless awards, a true many remember it showing up to all event made legend by built at and it continued in its true glory for many years, as of now, who knows where it’s at and what has become of it, it certainly got many changes to it. Wish it would have continue to live in infamy!

maintenance for longevity and reliability is never overrated yo!
It will cost less to maintain than to rebuild because when engines aren’t clean and well maintained they will struggle and over heat, lots of miles on this one, now bigger badder and all cleaned up 2332cc 9.5cr and more carb prep going on for some big boys!
the may not last forever but you can drive them for a long time if you take care of them right schedule your maintenance soon with any good qualified mechanic.

We been Finalizing bus twin set ups and I got the sudden curiosity to see if I can, and yeah I can make them fit, minor mods to the apron, or outlaw no apron style and voila we got our selves in a bus they are wicked so can only imagine in a beetle.

Congratulations to at ran a 11.50 at 116 mph making 220 hp to the wheels, today he ran an 11.48 and broke out of his dialing in, all while DRIVING HIS CAR SEVERAL 100’s OF MILES TO THE NEXT TRACK, he was about to hit a 200 mile drive to the next track! What a true testament of VW performance hit the road and lay an 11.50 and drive home

Oh boy this was so much fun, Allan’s 1988 Karman Gipsy with a 3.0 EZ 30 6cyl conversion I did for him. Just about ready to fire a few things left for him to sort out, mounts ect. It’s running on our reconfigured computer we use on a lot of our vw projects. This one going to be lots of fun for camping.
I can’t say it was an easy one at all to do. It was very time consuming at the start but once the details are settled, the rest of the work goes smoothly. The installation of the motor however, was a bit tough since it’s very heavy and difficult to maneuver. Overall, bough it’s really exciting and feels great to see the end of this one! camping in style and with power !

Allan’s rag top Ghia running the 2161cc built in 05 we found the DYNO sheet for. It was the very first beast engine I built for him 2161cc 8.7cr beast making 172 hp at 7000 and 155 trq at 4500, a solid stout platform which was enjoyed for many many years before he sold the car. When he sent this to me and we both said, WOW HOW TIME FLYS nearly 20 years of friendship and performance after building him many engines over this time.
I can’t even imagine how many of these notes I wrote, I didn’t always keep track of all my builds and results, but at some point I stopped doing dynos as I had a long list of set ups that yield similar results. However, we are now planning on doing chassis dynos for full car results and more data collection.
Either way it was such a nice surprise to get these memories, Thanks Allan for sending me this ❤️🙏🏼 can’t wait to see what we do next 😄!
Ps I had been building engine many years prior to this already, a life time of performance and still love the end result each and every time !

Grams in her 1975 one owner, bought new Lic plate “For My Love” cute story, bought by her husband back in 1975 as a surprise gifts for her to enjoy and love her 2 seater sports car. She Daily drove it for decades making lots of memories with her children even driving it cross country and to Canada as well, she has driven this car for over 100,000 miles. She then stored it for over a decade until deciding to get it back on the road and it became my pleasure to make that happen. She’s now cruising it with her grand children, roof off enjoying it once again with her 2.0L 914/Type4 Dual 44 Weber motor . Stay tuned some more cool stuff coming!

Amazing feeling this morning to be surprised by AL at GeneBerg. He said to me, I saw one of your twin turbo engines on the cover of magazine March 2024 issue. I was surprised and wasn’t even aware it was out already 🤦🏻‍♂️😃.
Apparently, my understanding is that this is the first time in the history of that two cars are featured on the same issue owned by the same person Jose S and and both engines built by the same

What we’ve been up to a lot lately, a bit quite but productive. We’ve successfully built the first of our line #TwinTurbo Performance VW engine profile. Happy to say that it’s been a success and currently been in use and driven now for many miles, short and long distances and has been tested harshly to insure that all systems are a go. Currently we have tested this engine in Paul’s bus on pump gas 91 octane, and at 10-12psi boost at 28 deg timing with out pulling timing. We our using our Using #TheLabVicTechEFI computer specifically set up for us for VW application. This engine profile is a twin turbo EFI water to air intercooler set up.
