It's been a fun four years, but it's time for us to throw in the AirBnB towel. Pinehaven is officially under contract and will have new owners starting 4/26.

Think we're due for a re-introduction especially since we've been MIA (life got hectic - C started a new job).

We're Carissa and Jeff (or C & J), nice to meet you! We're the owners of Pinehaven, and look forward to hosting you. We bought the house and land to escape from our Boston apartment during the pandemic AND for our corgi nephew, pictured in the grid often below.

Pinehaven is officially one year old! Taking a look at the last year the house saw:

🍁14 groups
🍁6 cars unable to get up the (old) driveway
🍁10 dogs and 2 cats
🍁 4 Birthday parties
🍁The re-opening of
🍁 One epic hike from our front door to the top of Saddleback mountain

Last year was a wild ride. Our big goal was re-doing the driveway and making it more accessible to the average car, and easier for to snowblow. Mission accomplished ✅

This year we're going to focus on creating more spaces for our guests to hang out, including a designated outdoor firepit, new couches, and, dare I say it, maybe add in a hot tub?

- Opening Day is November 23, 2021
- Window ticket purchases are available, but it's recommended to purchase your tickets IN ADVANCE for the lowest fare.
- Lots of exciting things afoot at Saddleback, including a new mid-mountain lodge (expected to open Fall 2022), T bar, New snowmaking & grooming equipment

It's soup season 🍲

We firmly believe in the importance of having a well stocked kitchen for our guests. I've experienced my own airbnb kitchen horror stories and feel strongly about giving guests a useable kitchen. Some kitchen must-haves are: blender, rice cooker, slow cooker, flour, rice, spices, various oven safe pots & pans and table settings for 20!

Our current guests shared images of her latest meals - Cook's Illustrated Slow Cooker Beef Stew & King Arthur Flour's Vermont Sourdough.

You have got to be kitten me, traveling with a cat?!

Stranger things have happened! Our current guests are waiting for their house to be built (we’re going to be neighbors) and brought their adorable cat Noti with them. Lovecat has been up a few times, but Noti has made herself right at home. Further proof that we can accomendate all sorts of furry (& non-furry) friends.
