I've had some people ask so thought I would post. This is how to get to Baird's Christmas Lights from council bluffs.

Take 92 east straight out of council bluffs. Go through treynor. Keep going straight until you reach Carson. On the east side of Carson you will get on highway 59 south until you come to h 12. Go east on h 12. Take it until you come to e ave which you will turn south onto. It is a gravel road. Head south and you will see/come to lights.

The family of Jack Baird would like to express appreciation for the love and support offered by so many people. Jack would have been humbled by all the comments. It was especially moving to hear from so many about the impact he and the lights made to their Christmas joy - none of us had any idea of the number of lives touched. We look forward to continuing the tradition for many years to come. Now that we’ve said our goodbyes and turned off the lights for this season we’re sharing this beautiful tribute from KMTV 3.

Tonight is the night! The lights turn on tonight at dusk (approximately 5pm) and will be on every night including weekends through New Years night. They will be on until 10pm every night. They are on timers so they cannot be changed. Directions from Red Oak:
North from Red Oak on Highway 48 until you get to 110th Street. Turn west and go until you get to E Avenue. Turn South on E Avenue. Then you should see them.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Lights will turn on Dec 10th Saturday and run thru New Years night. The lights will be on the same time range every night including weekends: Dusk (approximately 5pm) until 10pm. The lights are on timers so time range can not be adjusted. Thank you.
