Our Story

Recent and ongoing projects!

1. Exploring Main Street America! Travel enthusiasts, site contributors and long time friends, Carol Ferris and Eben Schoeman, have a passion of exploring cute downtowns...the kind of places where one can park the car and safely stroll around to shop, eat in unique local establishments, enjoy local art galleries, museums, music venues, and experience local historical spots. Around the country, there is a movement underway to revitalize main streets and to re-establish a sense of community. We love to not only visit Main Street America, but also help promote small businesses and share informative, fun travel information with you....from Carol’s travels in and around her home state of Virginia and beyond, to Eben’s travels in his home state of Florida and beyond! This is the heart and soul of our site!

2. "The Great Virginia Waterfall Trail - Eben Schoeman’s Companion Guide" was released in late 2019 on Amazon.com. in kindle Edition. Check it out!

3. “Main Street America” driving tour videos on the Let’s See America You Tube Channel provide a “you are there” perspective of the sights and sounds of favorite vibrant and diverse downtown areas. This is an ongoing project with recently posted videos of Roanoke, VA and the Florida towns/cities of Palm Beach, Fernandina Beach, Sarasota, Venice, and Micanopy.
