A guest checked in to the RT Royale Casita ( we call it R1) on Friday night for the weekend. I Didn’t know till this morning it was my long time friend from my Houston days… D Wayne Treat! I’m so happy I waved to him as he was about to load his car and pull away. We had to settle for a quick reunion, but we hope he’ll come back again Soon.

Today we said Good Bye to a RT Legend! Lee was truly one of a kind and he will be missed by so many all over the state of Texas and beyond! VIA CON DIOS AMIGO!! Walking into the Ellis Motel will never be the same but I will be there soon to toast my friend! See you there RT friends!
