A lovely adventure on Kauai is a visit to the Fern Grotto. It starts out on a peaceful, slow ride up the Wailua River on the Smith’s River Boats. This is a spacious, open-air boat providing excellent views of the river. Once you reach the Fern Grotto Landing you’ll enjoy a short nature walk through the rainforest to the lush Fern Grotto.
