This post is for my sewing friends. A number of people have boasted what they going to make out of fabric they purchased dirt cheap. While, I don't always want to spend big money on my fabric, when I sew, I don't want my garment to fall apart after a couple wearings because of cheap fabric. I don't want to waste my time sewing something on cheap fabric and cheap fabric is sometimes harder to sew on than decent fabric.
I will use cheap fabric for something I will only wear once, for costumes, or to make a trial garment to check for fit and if I like or need to modify the design for me.
