I rode on Wesley's 22ft express for a fun windy day of fishing. He wanted to learn more of the area whole stopping here and there to cast a line. 4/22 I had John and Diane on board for some fun fishing and a whole lotta laughs. They weren't keeping any fish as they were flying home that night so I talked them into keeping some Speckled Trout to take to Crave to have cooked up for them before their flight. They called me quite pleased with that decision. Thanks to the crew at Crave for taking care of them like they do for all my customers. Can't beat it. A good customer Ken Whitworth who passed away last year would enjoy this picture. He always enjoyed capturing the essence of our daily life. The Sunrises and Sunsets were always his favorite and he would sit in silence on the ride in or out just watching it go up and down thanking the lord for another glorious day. 🙌

4/20 I had the Bonnie and Clyde duo back on board for another phenomenal trip. Tina and Darnell along with a friend Tara, killed it with limits of Speckled Trout and a load of Sheepshead and a solid Flounder. Friday the 19th I went out on a solo run with a livewell full of Campo’s Marina live shrimp along with my favorite colors of Matrix Shad and I found the Speckled Trout stacked up and hungry at a few different spots. Finishing off my limit of them then moved onto the Redfish to see if they were in the ponds on the way home and found a some clean moving water. The fish were there waiting. I threw back quite a few big redfish and ended up keeping 4 of the smallest redfish. Can't beat the fishing rite now in Shell Beach, Louisiana!! Don't miss out, call soon to reserve your dates.

It really is unreal.how good the fishing is rite now. Customers canceled last min this morning (said it was to windy to fish) and I already had bait so I went out solo. Limited on speckled trout by 820 then put a limit of redfish in the boat on the way in. I've got tomorrow available, and a few days available this month and May. I had Diane and her son on the 26ft Blue Wave Boats for a fun day of fishing. They were in New Orleans and wanted to go catch some big fish. Nothing to keep as they were traveling for his birthday. We caught Bull Reds, Black Drum and Sheepshead until his poor arms were tired.

Been working on the property and lodging all week. I still have a long ways to go to reach my end goal, but I am seeing progress. According to the LDWF meeting today, Red Snapper season will begin April 15th and will run 7 days a week and the creel limit will be 4 per person.
The proposed red fish limit will be 4 per person, 18 to 27 inches with no guide limit and no bull reds!

I've had quite a few bay boats in the past, and this 26ft Blue Wave Boats has impressed me so much in the 2 years that I've had it. Ride quality, very dry, and super spacious. Even with the t-top we still have plenty of room to fish 5 people either inshore or offshore.

We rode around today just running the boats and checking things out, we noticed quite a bit of bait in the marsh, and to our surprise this morning there was live bait at Campo’s Marina That's fairly rare this time of year but tells me one thing, this spring/summer fishing is going to be one for the books and we are here for it. If your looking for that inshore fishing trip of a lifetime then nows the time to start planning it before all the dates that you want are taken!
