Just returned from a 16 day adventure on the Red Rooster 111 out of fisherman's landing, Pt Loma, San Diego. We ventured out approx 1000 miles /SW of San Diego to the Hurricane Bank. We also visited Clarion Island and the Potato Bank above Cabo San Lucas. Trip numbers were 105 tagged YFT and 55 Wahoo. We also caught 6 stripped Marlin. Overall fishing was tough but there was a chance a a giant. Jackpot/ 327lbs, 305lbs & 285lbs. If you are interested in this type of fishing LMK and I can tutor you! enjoy the pics.

Fishing has for sure transitioned to the time of year where you never know if the next bite is the fish you have been looking for? we are tied up at the dock today, 9/15/17, due to windy ocean conditions. This is just what is needed as the water was getting warm & clear. Hopefully there will be more big fish coming and I thought I would post some pics of some of the big Kings that are coming through now! Looking forward to fishing with you soon! Captain Phil
