The Utah Symphony was the very first show at the Amphitheater 25 years ago and we are thrilled to bring them back for a FREE concert June 27th for our 25th anniversary season! No tickets required, general admission throughout the whole venue.

Experience a soundtrack to summer when you join the Utah Symphony under the stars for an evening of some of the greatest hits from classical music and film—with spirited works celebrating the USA, Latin America, and themes of exploration and adventure. This laid-back outdoor concert features movie music by John Williams, marches by John Philip Sousa, fiery rhythms of Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, and much more.

This performance is offered for free to thank the community for its support of the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks program!

Don't forget - our free concert with the Utah Symphony is coming up tomorrow night!

Show starts at 8pm, gates open at 7pm. No tickets required - come on in and grab a seat or spot on the lawn.

Food trucks will be available before the show and venue concessions will be open inside or you are welcome to bring food with you! Outside food and drink are allowed - just no alcohol or glass please!

🏆 We are thrilled to announce that the Sandy Arts Guild has won the 2024 Best of State Award in Community Arts! This is the fourth award for the Arts Guild and the second year in a row we have been recognized by this organization.

This award recognizes all of the multi-disciplinary programming of the Sandy Arts Guild - including theater, visual arts, concerts, youth outreach & education, free events, and more.

The success of the Guild is thanks to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our staff, board members, actors & artists, production teams, volunteers, and supporters. We are also incredibly grateful for the support from Sandy City, Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks, the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, Mountain America Credit Union, Rocky Mountain Power, and Scheels for making our programming possible.

Mark your calendars for Jazz in the Park on May 18th!

Celebrate our 25th anniversary and kick off the 2024 Sandy Amphitheater season at our first event - it’s completely free and open to all! It's the perfect opportunity to start the season on a high note with great music, food, and fun for everyone.

We'll have top high school jazz bands from Utah like Lone Peak, Westlake, Lehi, Brighton, Caleb Chapman's Soundhouse, and more! And don't miss our headlining act, Hot House West, a professional western jazz band from Salt Lake City.

The event runs from 2pm to 10pm (gates open at 1pm), feel free to come and go as you like! This show is free and open to all, no tickets required.

🚨 JOB OPENING: Guest Services Specialist

We are hiring for a new Guest Services Specialist to join the Sandy Community Arts Team. This position supports events at the Sandy Amphitheater and The Theater at Mount Jordan. Duties would include working in the box office, assisting patrons, customer service requests, backstage hospitality, and other event needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

As this position is event support, the schedule is variable and will require work on evenings and weekends. This is a part-time non-benefitted position. Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
