The British Royal Airforce has returned to the Paso Robles Airport for training exercises, you may see the Airbus A-400M Atlas over Paso during the coming weeks. The plane is used as transport for high-altitude parachute training at Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter Liggett.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s because we helped raise money for this worthwhile cause earlier this year by donating a sightseeing flight at the Paso Robles 50th Anniversary Airport Day event. We also sponsor and host various events and activities for the museum throughout each year, and ACI Jet employees regularly volunteer their time and talent to the Youth Aviation Club.

📢 We’re pleased to announce that industry veteran Alfredo Garcia has joined the ACI Jet MRO team! Odds are, if you are in the business aviation maintenance marketplace, you already know Alfredo. However, did you know that he runs an adult kickball league that benefits the less fortunate in his neighborhood? Alfredo also serves in leadership and committee positions with the Southern California Aviation Association (SCAA), Arizona Business Aviation Association (AZBAA) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). There’s a lot to learn about Mr. Garcia, and we’re excited to learn more about him as he settles into his new role!

Labor Day often holds an entirely different meaning for aviation professionals. When others are able to take a day off of work, those who fly, fix and fuel are working hard through a peak travel environment. By all estimates, this year is expected to set records for Labor Day flight activity. To those of us who are blessed with a day off on Monday and are preparing to depart for the long weekend, take a moment to thank those who are working hard to ensure our weekend travel plans are safe and seamless.
