Optimize Trek takes "team building" to a whole new level with a small group of staff from THE LAB on Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. These teammates spent the day backpacking more than 12 miles with an elevation gain of 4,801 feet and a cable climb to the summit of Half Dome. Arriving at backcountry camp at 9:45pm, after enjoying sunset on the Dome, was a welcome site. A good meal and night under the stars gave them all they needed to crush the hike out. Proud of the courage, grit, and resilience this group embodied during their trek!!

Optimize Trek hosted seven individuals for a 2-day trek to Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. This trek marked a big milestone for an almost-80 year old (Ken) climbing the Half Dome cables! For Ken, who was joined on this adventure by his son, this was the trek and achievement of a lifetime. So proud of each member of our group for their intentionality and courage!
