Western Lake naturally opens up into the gulf when it reaches a certain capacity. She decided to show off for us this Friday July 5th, luckily a day after the busiest beach day of the year! The layers and contrasts are so beautiful.

The water is naturally brown from the tannins in the pine trees that surround the lake. They also coat the bottom with its sediment.
