Today (Dec. 28, 2022), I am able to get away and spend time at my condo during the holidays and spent time with my older sister which is only 20 minutes away. Here’s the latest scoop here. The temperature here is 42 degrees in the morning and supposed to get high 64 degrees.

as this 6' hammerhead peacefully glided along the shore today, a dozen people simply enjoyed the moment from the beach..… everyone except this guy, who repeatedly moved out to intercept/harass it… fortunately, this shark hasn't yet acquired a taste for ignorance.... please remember folks, when you act like this, you're not just risking your own life -- you're risking the lives of those who will inevitably try to help you, in the unlikely event that things go wrong... unprovoked shark attacks are EXTREMELY rare... just 1 in Walton County in the last 131 years: www.flmnh.ufl.edu/fish/sharks/statistics/gattack/mapfl.htm .... but the key word is... ::drumroll:: .... "unprovoked"

Yesterday was a beautiful day on 30A. I was out all day long taking photos. This one was taken on the beach in Seaside.

This was late in the day and the storms were still hanging out over the Gulf of Mexico. The beach was pretty crowded, so it took me awhile standing there to get this shot without anyone in the water.

Thunderstorms over the Gulf are always beautiful, but yesterdays were magnificent!

When we have storms out over the Gulf the water starts to churn and the color of it starts to change. I love how the light caught the amazing emerald green color of the water in this photo I took on the beach in Seaside, Fl.
