"WOW okay so the most amazing thing just happened to me and I can’t help but share it with the world. American Airlines instituted a new policy where you have to pay to take a carry-on onto the plane. Which is ridiculous but off topic. I consolidate my bags into one and they measure it and say it’s just a little too big. They proceed to charge me $50, except they only take credit card, no cash. Since I just got back from Europe all my cards are being declined as Chase doesn’t know I’m back. They tell me that I’m going to have to miss the flight and head back to the ticket counter to pay down there. I’m pleading, devastated after a long day of travel. Then, this man walks up and says, “How much is it?” They tell him $50 and he says “I got it.” I’m astonished and tell him it’s fine not to worry and he hands the lady his card as the American Airlines employees stand in silence shocked by this man’s generosity. They swipe the card and he tells me to have a great flight and hop on board. I’m crying as I write this and as I board the flight. This man was an angel. I stop him as he’s sitting in first class and try to give him my money but he just shook me off and told me to pay it forward. My heart is so happy. There are good people in this world. Be that person for someone because I know after this I sure will be." 💕 Update: It was NFL player, Jermaine Gresham. ❤

Tuesday, Sept 6th Uvalde CISD returns to class for the first time since the tragedy at Robb Elementary. As a show of support , LGISD, along with many other schools across Texas, are asking students, staff and the community to Maroon out on this day.

The Farmhouse at Freyburg. This rural lodging sleeps seven people. Amenities include full kitchen, washer and dryer, bathroom with shower. One bedroom has two queen beds and the other a queen bed and a twin bed. Large back deck with grill and table with umbrellas. There is also an outdoor claw foot tub with hot and cold running water. A fire pit, picnic table and fire wood are available as well. The house sits on 15 acres with a walking trail and is close to painted churches, wedding venues, wineries and restaurants. Bring your family to unplug and unwind in this tranquil location.

The Cabin at Freyburg. Cozy one bedroom cabin sleeps two. Amenities include queen bed, Wifi, kitchenette, bath with shower, beautiful views and breezes. The stars have great visibility at night in this rural location. Outside there is a picnic table and other seating, a fire pit and bbq pit.

If all the troubles of the world have you down,And you just need a place to get away.Come to the country.Located in Fayette County half way between LaGrange and Schulenburg off of Hwy.77.The Farmhouse is sitting on 15 acres so social distancing is not a problem.House is 2 bedrooms.(1) has 2 queen size beds.The other has 1 queen and a twin.Fully equipped kitchen.Back deck where you can sit and commune with nature.There is a walking trail.Basic tv with a DVD player.No wi-fi.$120.00 a night for 2 each additional person $20 a night.BBQ pit provided.We have a fire pit but no outdoor fires during burn bands.Smoking outside only.
