I have an exciting project I’m finally ready to announce officially–ANZA Gems! Many of you know that I have traveled to East Africa several times since 2014. You can read about my adventures going into a mine, buying rough gemstones, and why you need to pack toilet paper.

Throwback Thursday again?
The year is 1995. I am asked to design a single off of the Extreme album Waiting For The Punchline (which I also designed, another good story for a later date...).

The title Hip Today seemed to suggest an eternal quest in my young mind. So I bought a bunch of fashion mags and cut them up (old school scissors and glue), trying to create a Fashion Frankenstein. Voila! Worked for me.

Strangely, everyone thought the Frankenstein looked like a musician currently on the same label, and asked me to modify the face. I "forgot". Went to press. End of story.
