The DHC-2 Beaver was first manufactured by de Havilland Aircraft of Canada in 1947. The pug-nose design and durable frame have made Beavers the prime choice of bush plane pilots around the world.
But, de Havilland only produced 1,657 planes, ceasing production in 1967. In order to keep these rugged planes in commission, it’s not uncommon they need to be completely restored. That’s exactly what we do in Kenmore Air’s Beaver Shop.

When a Beaver goes through our Restoration Program, it’s stripped to its frame and fully restored. In fact, our Beaver Shop has earned such an international reputation that the aviation community has unofficially dubbed our restorations a “Kenmore Beaver.”
