The river at Pearl Valley, which flows directly through our property is beautiful. You can hear the river flowing as you drink your morning coffee, it's absolutely the most peaceful I've felt in Tennessee.

So, this is a hike mom is happy she did but won't probably do again, it was a bit too hard for her! :) The first part of the hike is very nice (following the river) and then you start to climb.... The view was very nice but maybe not worth all the stairs. On the way back, we saw a bear, probably 20 feet away, standing up ! she was so stressed; she didn't even think about taking pictures!!

Fully refurbished kitchen in the coziest space, one of our favorite cabins, Misty View! Misty View, also referred to as "the barn" in our family is a family favorite. It has 5 bedrooms, so there's enough room for everyone to have their own space!

Wears Cove is the perfect getaway for friends and families! It comes with a guest house that's perfect for in laws or couples! ​​​​​​​​​It's gorgeous and comes with a half basketball court, a ping pong table, and an outdoor fireplace. ​​​​​​​​​Definitely a perfect location for fall and winter getaways.

Alum Cave, we discovered this hike (which is a very popular one) this summer and we did it twice in three days :). It is a moderate hike, around 2h and 2h30. We particularly enjoyed following the river at the beginning then discovering the cave halfway through and then the wonderful views at the end of the trail. We haven't tried to keep going to Mount Leconte but would like to :) it is better to arrive early as the parking lot fills up pretty quickly. Our favorite trail so far in the park!

It's cozy fire pit season! Lillie's Retreat has an indoor and outdoor fireplace, perfect for either preference. It also has a hot tub on the deck, as well as a pool table and shuffleboard! ​​​​​​​​​The split level living makes for a wonderful living and dining room, with a table large enough to host your entire party!

A must stop when we are in town, the Tanger Outlets in Sevierville is a great place to shop! There are all your favorites at discounted prices. Located right on the Parkway, it's easy access and a great place to pick up whatever item you left at home!

A less talked about piece of history that you can come see during your Smoky National Park visit is the Ogle Place! ​​​​​​​​​The Noah "Bud" Ogle Place was a homestead located in the Great Smoky Mountains of Sevier County, in the U.S. state of Tennessee. The homestead presently consists of a cabin, barn, and tub mill built by mountain farmer Noah "Bud" Ogle in the late 19th century.

Come and experience the fall colors in the Smoky Mountains National Park! The leaves are gorgeous, red and yellow hues everywhere and it's definitely the right time to go!
