My family and I spent a week here and couldn't get enough of it. The lake and mountain views are fantastic, and the listing is spot on when it says this house is secluded. We had almost total privacy even when spending time down at the lake. Everything in the house was spotless, from bathrooms to the kitchen surfaces and appliances. The owners have put such an impressive array of accommodations into the house that my family and I were often content to just prepare meals at home and enjoy the time together. The owners were also kind enough to help accommodate my family's trip when our original trip to Florida was cancelled last-minute due to Hurricane Irma. We are definitely keeping this house on our short list for future vacations.O

Other species of fish that are in the lake includes striped bass, white bass, sauger, bluegill, blue catfish, flat head catfish, walleye, red breast sunfish, black crappie, red horse, spotted bass and channel catfish. The best fishing seasons are in the spring and in the fall

Douglas Lake is also a popular destination for swimming, water skiing and boating. Boats are used for pulling people on inner tubes, rafts, skis and parasails. Regardless of your interests, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy at Douglas Lake. You can always rent a boat to get out on the lake.
