Happy New Year, friends! What a great way to start off 2022...if you receive emails from Tile Bar, you'll see our villa bathroom is featured! We were the winner of the latest project sweepstakes and we are so honored! 💙💙💙 We used their tile for our Siesta Key bathroom remodels. 😊 We also just added a fun little detail on our recent trip. It turned out so great and was the perfect finishing touch! We used Weaber Lumber wheat boards. And I'm including the MLS photo to show you where we started. What do you think? Who wants to book a trip to Siesta Key!?

Finished! We hope these updated bathrooms give our guests a more upscale and relaxed stay...and are certainly more reflective of the rest of the house's style now.

We finished some fun projects and improvements last week at the villa!

Project 1: butcher block countertops.
Project 2: Cedar slat wall with hanging surfboards
Project 3: new living room furniture
Project 4: front landscape
Project 5: new bedroom doors and handles

Still waiting on arrival of outdoor shower and new living room fan!

We stained outside cedar, had the carpets and grout cleaned, which look great, and bought a propane grill. The charcoal was just too hard! 😂

We managed to go out to dinner every night, got to the beach once 🙈, and had one great day charter fishing. I know an amazing captain! So if you want to catch 20-plus fish each, let me know. My kids had a ball, and then we took it to a local establishment and they cooked it up for us. I’m ready to go back to paradise!
