Bison riding the green waves in southwest Montana. After a frighteningly dry and warm winter in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, spring rains (and snow) are worth celebrating. They have left the mountain valleys greener than they've been in years. Rivers soon are expected to rise and roar. You can smell the botanical richness in the air in every corner of the ecosystem.
