Home from the Iowa AHA Fall Classic & ASB Futurity of Iowa show. It was a busy last show of the season- I’m so proud of how far everyone has come throughout the year!

Thank you to Randy, Denise Crampton Haertel,Katie Buttolph, and Megan Schoeneman for keeping the horses looking their best. And thank you to Lori Ross for the extra equitation coaching. We appreciate each of you!

-Feeding/watering horses
-Turning in/out horses

It was a wonderful day at PPA teaching the next generation of horse inspired individuals.

We held our annual Spring Academy Show with 22 students exhibiting their hard work and skills learned throughout the winter. It was exciting to see them and our instructors shine!

We also hosted the Minnehaha County 4-H YHL event. Dr. Steve Tornberg had an informative presentation on “What affects your horse’s behavior?”. It was nice to have him at the barn and good to see participation from young club members.

SD Spring Show

Everyone is home and resting from a very busy but successful SD Spring Show. We had a lot of new riders, some competing in their very first show. We also had a lot of new horse/rider pairings which was fun to see. The highlight was watching Curtis Hofer compete in the W/T 11 & over class. Our PPA family is amazing!

Thank you to Denise, Spencer, Randy, Lauryn, Katie, Curtis, and Megan for all your hard work! And Deb for your assistance with coaching. I could not have done this without each of you.

Wow! What a fun time at the MAHA Spring Fling. Everyone had great rides. Goals were met and new ones were made.

Fun in the sun! We are home from a very successful Scottsdale show. Ally & Eden did an amazing job in some very competitive classes. I’m so proud of them both!

It’s was a fun couple of days at the barn having Deb McGuire give an equitation clinic. What an amazing horse woman and coach! Everyone did so great .. only wish I could have captured more pictures. Bring on the 2024 show season!
