Shotgun POI (point of impact) and Patterns

Very few people realize that the majority of the average off the shelf shotgun does not shoot to POI and patterns poorly. The Shotgun Manufacturers know this, but cannot offer shotguns that will shoot to POI and pattern properly at the price they offer them for. It's a competitive battle among the Manufacturers to offer what they can at a cheap price. If you're willing to spend several thousand dollars or more on a custom shotgun, you might get proper POI...or maybe not. We've tested countless numbers of shotguns and found that most shotguns do not shoot to POI and pattern poorly (in the 40 - 60% range). That means the shotgun will not hit an exact aiming point and your pattern could allow a target the size of pheasant or duck to escape a 30" pattern kill zone. A 70% pattern is no given. We consider 80% or more of the pellets in a 30'' pattern circle to be an optimized pattern. Correcting improper POI and Increasing shot pattern percentages takes some configuration know-how, but don't worry, we'll help you do it yourself, or in the near future do it for you. It's time to stop missing targets that you could have hit.

Joy to all and Happy Holidays. Some thoughts as we enter the holiday season...It is important to remember that not everyone is looking forward to Christmas. Some people are not surrounded by large wonderful families and friends. Others have problems during the holidays and are overcome with great sadness when they remember the loved ones who are not with them. For many, it is their first Christmas without a particular loved one, many others lost loved ones at Christmas time. And, many people have no one to... spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness. We all need caring, loving thoughts right now. May I ask everyone wherever you might be, to kindly post this status, to give a moment of support to all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Please do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my friends for moral support. I did it for a friend and you can do it too!

Anti-Gun Senator Shoots Intruder

State Senator R.C. Soles (D - NC)
Long time Anti-Gun Advocate State Senator R.C. Soles, 74, shot one of two intruders at his home just outside Tabor City , N.C. about 5 p.m. Sunday, the prosecutor for the politician's home county said.

The intruder, Kyle Blackburn, was taken to a South Carolina hospital, but the injuries were not reported to be life-threatening, according to Rex Gore, district attorney for Columbus, Bladen andBrunswick counties..

The State Bureau of Investigation and Columbus County Sheriff's Department are investigating the shooting, Gore said. Soles, who was not arrested,declined to discuss the incident Sunday evening.

"I am not in a position to talk to you," Soles said by telephone. "I'm right in the middle of an investigation."

The Senator, who has made a career of being against gun ownership for the general public, didn't hesitate to defend himself with his own gun when he believed he was in immediate danger and he was the victim.

In typical hypocritical liberal fashion, the "Do as i say and not as i do" Anti-Gun Activist Lawmaker picked up his gun and took action in what apparently was a self-defense shooting. Why hypocritical you may ask? It is because his long legislative record shows that the actions that he took to protect his family, his own response to a dangerous life threatening situation, are actions that he feels ordinary citizens should not have if they were faced with an identical situation.

It has prompted some to ask if the Senator believes his life and personal safety is more valuable than yours or mine.

But, this is to be expected from those who believe they can run our lives, raise our kids, and protect our families better than we can.

GUN LAWS

To all Anti-Gun Individuals and Politicians that try or even suggest that the United States needs more gun laws, or to ban so called Assault Weapons: It is a fact that we have more gun laws than we need. Spend some time on the internet and you'll be amazed that we're able to carry Guns at all because of existing Federal and State laws. And Citizens ask, “With all these Gun laws why does crime continue?” And therein is the Anti-Gun Politicians Big Lie. These laws don’t apply to criminals no matter how many and what types of laws are implemented by Anti-Gun Politicians. Criminals don’t buy through legitimate sources. They don’t undergo background checks. They don’t have their fingerprints reviewed by the FBI. The Anti-Gun Politicians know that gun bans will never reduce crime. Their true intent is to strip citizens of all guns and eliminate the Second Amendment.

BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS
How can you ban something that law abiding US citizens are not allowed to purchase or own? First of all the term Assault Weapon in general is a misnomer. Anything that can be used as a weapon, from a pencil to a car to a bomb is an assault weapon. The FBI says an Assault Rifle is a Submachine Gun with selective rates of fire, including single, multiple and full automatic. In 1934 the Federal Government prohibited public ownership of fully automatic weapons. The weapons available for US citizens are not true Assault Rifles as they can only be shot in a one-trigger-pull one shot mode. So I ask the Anti-Gun Politicians, how can you ban something that law abiding US citizens cannot purchase or own? Not to mention the fact that AR doesn't even stand for Assault Rifle, it stands for ArmaLite Rifle, the Company that invented the specific style of low cost rifle.

Those are bad guys they’re locking up. The good guys (gun-owners), don’t commit crimes. Existing laws work not through additional legislation but through proper implementation.

Are there too many laws. There certainly are. And they penalize the legitimate legal gun owner unfairly. There are 280 million + fi****ms legally and legitimately owned in the US. Law abiding Gun Owners know what is right and what is wrong, the very reason you don’t see crimes committed just because people own guns. Crimes are committed with guns because of criminal intent, fi****ms do not cause the crime.

An ORC International/CNN poll conducted October 14-17 asked respondents “Do you favor or oppose stricter gun control laws?” 52-percent answered that they oppose stricter laws. One wonders how lopsided the results would have been if respondents were asked if they support a Clinton-endorsed gun confiscation scheme.

National Defense Policy Held Hostage

Yesterday afternoon, President Obama vetoed the National Defense Authorization Act – also referred to as NDAA. This is a piece of legislation we pass each year to set our nation’s defense priorities. Since NDAA was first passed more than 50 years ago, it has only been vetoed four times. This week marks the fifth.

Outside of this week’s veto, every other one has been issued because of a legitimate defense policy disagreement. President Obama’s veto, however, is the first time a Commander in Chief has chosen to hold our national defense policy hostage as leverage to increase domestic government spending. I believe the decision is dangerous and unacceptable.

The legislation Congress put on the President’s desk had broad bipartisan support. It earned that support because it was good policy. In fact, the legislation includes a critical pay raise for our troops. It enhances the military retirement system and makes much-needed improvements to the way mental health care is handled for veterans. It strengthens our cyber defenses, reinforces our mission to defeat ISIL, and enables us to better counter Russian aggression. And it accomplishes all of this while reflecting Congress’s balanced budget plan.

I will not stand by as the President tries to kill this bill. I am proud that the House already has a vote scheduled on November 5 to override the veto. In order to be successful, we will need a handful of additional Democrats to join us in the override and I will be working to gain those votes in the days ahead.

The best defense against insane people who want to kill other people is self defense (self preservation). Not gun cotrol. Law abiding citizens able to defend their own lives and the lives of their families, friends, and other fellow law abiding citizens around them. That's what stops mass shootings.
