Had the honor to take the Bridgestone Factory Tour (not open to public hence no photos). The ball has to pass 130 mechanical tests and 30 human inspections before it is boxed and shipped. Might be a convert based on their standards. Good enough for Tiger, good enough me. Afterwards got to see their USGA range for ball testing. Coming soon is some type of Bridgestone experience for golfers. A visit to Bridgestone would be a great pairing to golf in the Atlanta area.
Was fortunate enough to take The Bridgestone Factory Tour. (Not open to the public and couldn’t photo) Almost every ball played in USA is made in Atlanta, Georgia. Before the ball is out the door it has to pass 130 mechanic and 10 visual tests. I am a convert based on their golf ball procedures and controls. Good enough for Tiger, good enough for me.
The office this week is Georgia. Heading there this morning and starting my day visiting Stone Mountain Park and Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort. May have time for an emergency nine, with Georgia on my mind. (It was supposed to rhyme)
Grand Bear is the only public Jack Nicklaus golf course in Mississippi. Nicklaus courses are know to be best played with a cut. Working the ball right to left will avoid bunkers, find the fairways and reach tricky pin placements. A must play along Mississippi’s gulf coast.
Fallen Oak, regarded as the Best Course in Mississippi offers traveling golfers a first rate experience. Arrive to a gated enterance, all cars valeted, and private lockers with your name on it. The 19th hole (bar) is also award winning serving World Famous Bloody Mary’s with a stunning view of the final hole.
The Old Course at Dr Andrews gets all the accolades based on history but The New Course might be a better golf course. When you get to St Andrews you must play the all.
One of the best 4 hole stretches in golf is the cliff hanging holes at Sand Hollow. Holes 12-15 run along the top of the plateau with magnificent views! The final hole in the stanza is a 160+ yard downhill par 3.
One of the best golf holes in Las Vegas. Hole #16 at Bali Hai. A nervy par 3 over water backdropped by the clubhouse. Play it late in the day for some dramatic lighting. Who has played it? Who has it one their bucket list?.

Today, celebrates the 25th Anniversary of The Legend Course at Giants Ridge. Pictured is Golf Course Architecht Jeffery Brauer and his Signature Hole . The 17th is a long 215 yard par 3 plays over a bay in the Sabin Lake. Today, GolfWeek ranks The Legend as the 6th best course in Minnesota. Happy Birthday Giants Ridge!!!!!

Dubbed the 19th Wonder of the World - Payne’s Valley is Tiger Woods first public course and is now open in Branson Missouri. Bucket list golf!
