Daily Tip:Keep Your Business Cards Up-To-Date. If you keep other people's business cards, date them. Toss out the ones
that are no longer relevant. Be sure to "containerize" the cards. The best way is to insert them into a rolodex.
If you prefer an electronic method, put in the information in a contact management program, then toss the card.

Daily Tip:It Takes 21 Days To Form A New Habit. Recognize that it takes 21 days or more to form a new habit. It takes time for a new habit to really become part of a routine. Give it the time it deserves. Once it is a habit, you will see how easily it became incorporated into your life.

Daily Tip: Categorize Your Files. Categorize your files from
general to specific. The hanging file should be labeled
the "general" category; interior folders should
be "specific".

Be sure to leave the hanging folder in the drawer and only
pull out the interior folder to retrieve information. The
hanging file will be in the correct place for you when
you return the folder.

Unclutter Your Desk. Erase unnecessary distractions. A
cluttered desk tends to create a cluttered mind. It
becomes difficult to focus and be productive. Work to
completion on one task at a time.

Tip of the Day

One Calendar. Use ONE calendar system to eliminate
scheduling conflicts. Using more than one calendar allows
for misinformation and scheduling mistakes. (IF you must,
you can use one for personal and one for work.)

Tip of the Day
Set Goals. Determine your goal(s) before you begin.
Know where you are going. A goal must be "smart":
specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely.

Organization Tip of the Day: Don't Rely On Your Memory! Too many items will fall through the cracks. Write it down! Keep a spiral notebook for your thoughts, phone messages, and items to remember.
