“For those hitting the ocean and waves this summer.

This is really simple. You can spot a rip current. Unfortunately, it's where it looks easiest and safest to enter the sea. This is because the rip current is looping around and pulling back OUT. Hence no waves rolling IN. NEVER ENTER THE SEA HERE. If you are already in the sea and get caught in a rip current (you'll know because you will suddenly be moved from your location and it will be impossible to swim against it) don't panic. Swim ACROSS, not against the rip current. For example, rather than trying to swim to shore while being pushed out, swim parallel to the beach and you will be able to get out. Then you can swim ashore. Please educate friends or family visiting the beaches this summer. Stay safe 🙏”

How to avoid crowds while traveling ⬇️⁣⁣

This is the Trevi Fountain and it’s one of the most visited places in the world!⁣⁣
⁣
If you’ve been to Rome, then you know that the Trevi Fountain is constantly filled with crowds and very rarely do you see it this empty.⁣⁣
⁣
I constantly get asked how I don’t have people in my photos and it is because I try to avoid crowds as best as I can! Here are my top tips on how to avoid crowds when traveling:⁣⁣
⁣
1️⃣ Visit the most popular attractions in the early mornings: Early mornings are the best chance to have a place to yourself! The more popular the attraction, the earlier I would say to visit. ⁣⁣
⁣
2️⃣ Travel during off season: I always recommend traveling during off season because you avoid crowds and prices are typically cheaper and there’s more availability!⁣⁣
⁣
3️⃣ Swap popular travel destinations for lesser known ones: If you’re open to it, skip the popular destinations for destinations less visited. It’s also a great way to combat overtourism. ⁣⁣
⁣
4️⃣ Consider festival and events: If you don’t care to attend the festivals or events, make sure to check when major events happen so you avoid those crowds. ⁣⁣
⁣
5️⃣ Prebook tickets in advance: If an attraction requires tickets, get the earliest tickets or the tickets close to closing time! Those are when it’s least crowded! ⁣⁣
