Who will be joining you on your next vacation? Kids 👧🏼? Couples 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨? The girls👯‍♀️? Parents🧓🏾? Whatever the mix is we’ve got you. Our home is set up as 3 bedrooms 🛌 : one with a king, one with a queen and one with two twin beds. We can happily link the twin beds together upon request prior to arrival. We can also set up our pack ‘n play 👶🏻 in any room. And, with premium hybrid mattresses 🛏️ , cozy duvets, plus a/c ❄️ and tower fans 💨 in each bedroom, we can accommodate all sorts of sleepers 😴.

As you enter our gated grounds at Thornsberry Hollow you are greeted by lush landscaping, gnarled oaks and the soothing sound of the stream creating a peaceful atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. This property offers a true escape into nature with terraced gardens and walking paths that wind down under the treed canopy to The Outpost deck and creek below. With seating for eight guests in The Outpost, it is the perfect place to gather with friends and family while feeling at ease in the magical setting of Sonoma.

A great vacation rental is all about togetherness. Group trips at a hotel just aren’t the same. That’s why we prioritized creating spaces for gathering, like in our family room with a sectional for six, two accent chairs and an ottoman for flexibility. Stream the latest new release, watch your home team or just lounge together over a glass of wine and a board game (we’ve got tons!!).

We know that a kitchen is the heart of the home and since Sonoma is a haven for foodies, having a new, stylish and functional kitchen complete with all the gadgets, serveware, glassware and spices was essential. We’re so glad our guests appreciate it!

Getting enough vitamin D is important for typical growth and development of bones and teeth 😀, as well as improved resistance to certain diseases including MS and heart disease ❤️. What better source of free vitamin D than the sun 🌞?! May we prescribe a trip to Thornsberry Hollow in Sonoma? It comes complete with over 1/2 an acre of outdoor space 🍃 plus loads of decks for opportune exposure. Our favorite spot to soak up the California sun is sitting on our Adirondack chairs (with cup holders) on our west-facing 🌅 front porch with a glass of gewürtraminer from down the street in hand. Cheers to vitamin D 🥂!

Nothing makes us happier than sharing our vacation home with such wonderful guests. With multiple family members in Sonoma, we purchased Thornsberry Hollow as a vacation home for our young family to bridge the gap in geography. When we aren’t there, we simply want to share our love for this special part of the world and show everyone all that it has to offer. And also our stylish bathrooms 😉.

What does Thornsberry Hollow sound like? As you walk along terraced paths, dine al fresco under our citrus tree 🍊 or curl up with a book and a glass of wine 🍷 in The Outpost, you’ll hear the gentle sound of the creek 💧and the occasional songbird 🕊️. But inside (or on our portable Marshall speaker) you can listen to our curated playlist to capture the vibe of our vacation rental 🎶 . You can even take the mood on the road when you drive to wineries, restaurants or hikes. Or, get excited for your upcoming trip or hold on to the memories by listening to our playlist anytime.

How important is a good night sleep 😴 when you’re on vacation? It’s kind of a big deal. That’s why all four of the beds 🛏️ in our vacation rental have dreamy new premium hybrid mattresses for all the back, side and tummy sleepers out there. Do you run hot 🥵 ? No sweat! Always cold🥶 ? We got you! If you wake up groggy 🥴 you can blame that extra glass of delicious Sonoma wine 🍷 you so deserved, not our ultra comfy beds.

Room swap. When we were planning out our floor plan at Thornsberry Hollow we got a bit stuck on the configuration and how the previous owners were using their family room. It’s great that it worked for them, but as our vacation home/vacation rental, we needed something conducive to hosting. Somewhere for a group to lounge, and a place to host a dinner party with enough elbow room for eight.

My brilliant family suggested a room swap. It meant ditching the fireplace (yes, it had vibes, though it’s the kind that kids just love to touch and scorch those precious hands) but we gained a true family room with a sectional facing the TV and a comfortable dining room across from the kitchen and overlooking the enchanting grapefruit tree with whimsical string lights. Tada!

It’s official - we now have our vacation rental license and can begin welcoming guests to Thornsberry Hollow! Come and enjoy our newly renovated 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home on over half an acre with a new hot tub and expansive decks overlooking the citrus and olive trees, plus a magical canopy of gnarled oaks arching over the tranquil creek.

Walk to California’s oldest wineries including Gundlach Bundschu Winery and Buena Vista Winery or drive five minutes to Sonoma Square for fantastic restaurants, boutiques and tasting rooms.

This vacation rental is a gem and we’d love to share it with you!
