It is official: Tuesday, October 22nd, will be the first day of the 2024-2025 ski season! Wolf Creek Ski Area near South Fork, CO where you are welcome to stay at our cabin. Wolf Creek Ski Area will be open for 7-day-a-week operations beginning Tuesday, October 22, 2024, for its 85th Ski Season after receiving 21 inches of snow!!

The snow level was around 10,500 ft last night. It looks like Wolf Creek Ski Area got 2 or 3" of snow. More is on the way!

*** The Pueblo NWS has issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for the eastern San Juan Mountains above 10,000 ft. Up to 40" of snow and winds gusting to 40 mph are possible. The heaviest snow is expected between Friday morning and Sunday morning. ***"

Wolf Creek has received 42 inches of fresh snow in the latest storm with 11" of snow falling overnight! The current midway snow depth is 88 inches; with a year-to-date snowfall total of 224 inches. Conditions are Powder/Packed Powder with grooming throught the mountain.

* This Sunday, February 11th is Local Appreciation Day! Lift tickets will be $66 for adults and $47 for seniors and $33 children. Everyone is considered a local!
* Monday, February 12th is a Ms. Mondays ski & snowboard clinic! Ladies with C ability and above can purchase a lift ticket and 2 hour morning lesson combo for just $111 or $92 for seniors.
* The Upper Lodge, Pathfinder Bar, Base Camp, Continental Espresso Bar, Raven’s Roost, Alberta Grill and Prospector are open today! For guests who have food sensitivities, we recommend using the Base Camp Lodge, the picnic facility, to bring up your own lunch that meets your allergy and dietary restrictions. Wolf Creek kitchens are small making chances of cross contamination possible.
* Okey Dokey is closed for construction. Skiing public should take A-Way to Alberta or ride Treasure Lift to Tranquility to Looky Loo.
* The next race in the Fun Race Series - The Mardi Gras Race will be held on Sunday, February 11th! The race begins at 11am and is free and open to skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities! Medals are given to the top 3 racers in each age division.
* The Fun Loop, The Meadow Loop, and Lake Spur Nordic Trails were groomed and track set on Thursday, February 8th.

After a dry December compared to the 2022-2023 ski season, January is off to a great start with a powerful storm gifting 29 inches of fresh powder for skiers and boarders! Conditions are powder and packed powder with unmarked obstacles.

Wolf Creek's all-natural midway base is 55 inches! The year-to-date snowfall total final crept over the 100 inch mark and is now sitting at 113 inches. All lifts are operating from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with 100% of all terrain open! Lift tickets are at regular rates: $89 for adults, $58 for seniors and $44 for children.

Lift tickets are available for pre-purchase at shop.WolfCreekSki.com. New Lift Ticket Pickup Boxes (kiosks) in the Base Camp Lodge now make pre-purchased tickets convenient for guests by giving the option of skipping the main Ticket Office. Regular adult, senior and children lift tickets can be printed at the kiosks.
