‘Arrived just in time for the Blessing of the Boats today, at the Michigan Maritine Museum. So special!

We were even able to get a tour of Friends Good Will - thanks, Crewman Jim!

Then they served up a fish fry dinner from Captain Lou’s that my kids aptly declared “100% awesome”. What a great kickoff to Memorial Day weekend!

It was a beautiful day in South Haven this past Saturday! ‘Had my coffee on the patio. Ahh…..
I looked for the deer that I spotted earlier headed into the woods, but no luck. Maybe next time. But still, a win!

Later it was down to the beach with the kiddos. We definitely were not the only ones with that idea, but some of the few to venture into the still-chilly water. My tip: dive in. It’s much better than freezing step by step, and helps warm you up.
