South Lake Tahoe has the most beautiful river. The North Upper Truckee River is a little piece of heaven and has a walking/biking/running trail along the way. Bring your kayak or stand up paddle board, or have deliver one to you, and float down this beautiful piece of nature. You can also find a river beach off the path to spend the day.
