25 years ago South Pitsburg Hospital closed its doors and seen its very last patient. Even before she closed her doors healthcare workers and patients alike made claims of odd happenings within her walls….. 25 years later she has become the Mecca of the paranormal world with claims that at times seem unbelievable. Some times it takes a very brave person to walk her halls and listen to the messages of patients past. This location will continue to amaze and astound all the visitors that step foot inside. I don’t share much when it comes to hauntings in my own buildings because they are quite personal to me. But this one is to funny not to share. Trying to clean out a bathroom here at the old hospital, a bathroom that had been off limits since the building shut down. Minding my own business fixing the ceiling, later on to be sweeping and mopping up my mess. Just sweeping away when I hear a voice as clear as day say “you missed a spot” thinking it’s one of the volunteers poking fun at me i turned around to find myself alone with the bathroom door open, I set the broom down against the wall to walk out of the bathroom still suspect of someone playing a prank on me, and to my disbelief it’s only me on the second floor near the bathroom, I go back into the bathroom and jokingly say , well if you can do it better have at it …… a few seconds after I said that I hear footsteps, a chuckle, and the broom which appeared to be pushed off the wall into my general area, I pick up the broom and start to sweep and hear “ that’s better”……… things that happen that leave you scratching your head! Just an amazing moment in an other wise boring day of cleaning.

As the sun begins to set over our fine lady the bats have come out in swarms to eat insects. After i took this video 100’s more took to the skies. A truly amazing site to see.
