2 babies?! Been there, done that 😎 So we got you covered! There’s tons of spots in the house to sneak in those pack n plays for a good night sleep (for all!). We ask you before you come which room you’d like them set up so you can get right to nap time! Also, all rooms have these amazing room darkening shades from that make everyone go 😴

Last night of the Pfoutz family vaca ‘Away at the Bay’ 😭 We’ve found ourselves just right up the road at a few times (tonight was at )! From beach bar casual style to indoor dining, it’s such a great spot to have so close!
We all agreed that the cream of crab is 💯

For future guests - they have jet ski rentals, too!

These newly planted baby milkweed plants by the dock make me so happy not only for the 🦋, but also because they were gifted to us as a good home by . Having this spot just right up the road is so special for so many reasons: the people (the best), the fresh fruits/veggies, the local meat supply, the farm animals, and the meeting spot! So so thankful to have this spot so close. Now on to watch these babies grow!

5 star airbnb reviews are great, but have you ever been left love notes by kids? For us - that’s the win. We love doing all we can to help our families with kiddos of all ages and stocking the house with all the kid essentials…and toys/games of course…

When you find people that are a) so good at what they do b) local to your spot and most importantly c) good people - you celebrate!! What’s your favorite eastern shore destination finds?! It’s amazing how many day trips you can plan from the house.

I think (aside from Kent Island of course) that Blackwater and the surrounding area might be our favorite so far. Comment below on your favorite finds!

We’ve got some fun news!! Coming in September 2024: the sister property to Away at the Bay: The Creek House! Ryan’s parents are currently building this brand new home away just down the road from ‘Away’ and has the serene Tolson Creek as its backyard (which will be run by yours truly). Already staying at Away this fall? Grab some more of your family to join and golf cart down to em!

How many beds and heads you ask? ‘Away’ has 4 bedrooms: 3 Kings & one bunk bed room. Each room has its own bathroom and closet, so you can be cozy…but not too cozy.

Happy national crab day!!! Away at the Bay = crabs & company. There is absolutely nothing more Maryland than catchin and cookin some crabs and eating them by the water.
