Beautiful afternoon out for these ladies on a girls trip from PA staying on Topsail Island. Some nice finds on Bear Island. Water temp was about 68 and air temp felt like 80s.

This guy, who just came in from the ocean and dumping his moms and grandfathers ashes, obviously took the wrong path! Those jet skies still need water, be it not much. With an outgoing tide, he was gonna be there awhile, and SeaTow wanted $650 with no membership… Always good to brush up on towing skills! 😁

Great cruise today for this family from Winston Salem area on a weekend getaway. Early start on Bear Island yielded some good finds. Third Queens Helmet in last couple weeks. A run out the inlet made for some excitement! Beautiful fall weather.

Fall shelling is hot! This family from PA worked both ends of Bear Island for some great finds. Much cooler and breezy today. Water temp hovering around 63. Great weather next couple of weeks! Let’s go!!

Another great day. Started with some repeat customers and shelling stops on both ends of Bear Island. Despite the high water levels, got some nice finds. Saw a majestic bald eagle too. Then wrapped up day with a scenic cruise, a nice dolphin show and beautiful conditions.

Wrapped up a big day with some favorite locals. High tide brought in some more good finds. Dolphin, great weather and awesome shells. A wonderful day on the water.

Sometimes good shells can be found behind the dunes, not always on the ocean side. Found this over 200yds from the “beach”.

Always great to start a cruise with a 🐬 show!

Doesn’t get much tighter than this. Elevated water levels from king tides made it interesting running up the White Oak River yesterday. This was the new Rail Road bridge in Stella.
