Rob and Jen have been participating in 18C Living history at a variety of historic sites and museums since the 1980's with a few detours in to the 17C, building a store of knowledge by taking advantage of many educational opportunities offered by museums and historic sites and together have over 50 years experience. They have been members of ALHFAM and NAI and are currently also members of the Mar

yland Loyalist Battalion where Rob is Captain. Jen has been studying period food and material culture from the 17th and 18th Centuries off and on since she graduated from college, attending various lectures, symposia and workshops at a number of historic sites with prominent foodways historians. When we take our "shop" with canvas walls to various historic venues, we try to present, as closely as possible, an 18C grocery using those primary sources to inform our choices of inventory and appearance.
