IN THE SPIRIT Arts Market & Northwest Native Festival Vendor Highlight: Carly Feddersen, Colville Confederated Tribe.

Carly Feddersen is a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes and comes from a long line of creative people. A jeweler and basket maker, Feddersen creates work that incorporates storytelling and use of regional materials to create work that is distinct to the Plateau region.

About her artistic influences, Carly says:
“My culture and home in the Columbia Basin is my greatest source of inspiration. My art is a reflection of my Plateau culture, reflected in my use of regionally-sourced stones, elk teeth, and basket motifs.”

Please join us in person at this year’s free IN THE SPIRIT Arts Market & Northwest Native Festival on Saturday, August 6 from 10:00 AM-5:00 PM, where you can purchase Carly’s handmade jewelry and more. Get all the details about the festival and shop artist vendors online: www.InTheSpiritArts.org.
