Excited to support a number of teams attempting an ascent this season!

And they're off! Mountaineering season in Denali is well underway- the first successful summit party of 2024 have just returned earlier this week! As of publishing, 952 climbers are registered to attempt the summit of Denali this year, with 261 currently on the mountain.

Mountaineering is a challenging sport not for the faint of heart. These impressive outdoor athletes will endure temperatures below zero often accompanied by whipping winds for two weeks or more on their journey to 20,310 feet above sea level- all while carrying 50-100 pounds of gear! In addition to these predictable difficulties of a Denali expedition, mountaineers will undoubtedly face setbacks and unexpected challenges along the way. However, the spirit of adventure and the siren song of the summit pushes them onward and upward... as long as conditions allow it.
