Curran Manor at the Keebler Estate offers a mix of historic charm and modern comforts and amenities. La-Z-Boy queen size sleeper sofa and a large screen smart TV with streaming, and the bath and kitchenette offer unlimited hot water, Keurig coffee machine, full size refrigerator, full size oven and stove, microwave, toaster, as well as plenty of cookware and place settings. Upstairs, the bedroom features the original fireplace, a queen size bed with Indian mahogany headboard, brand new mattress set, and luxurious new bedding. There is a reading nook, alarm clock with radio, and plenty of places to plug in your electronics. Leading from the stairs to the bedroom is the landing, featuring a pair of very unique hand-carved Indonesian chairs - another great place to sit, read, and relax! The pool is scheduled to be opened on April 4, 2022 (although it will need some time for the temperature to increase to a comfortable level) and will likely close for the season around the end of September. It is meticulously maintained, and during the summer, the water temperature is usually in the mid to high 80s! While guests are not permitted to bring children and/or pets (as the pool isn't fenced), there are two children and an old fox hound that live here in the main house. The dog is very quiet, and we try to keep any racket from the kids to a minimum. This is a peaceful, rural property, where cattle and turkeys can be seen and heard throughout the day. We've even got a few cattle that hang out near the fence that borders our property! Just a short drive to both historic Jonesborough, TN and historic Greeneville, TN, Curran Manor at the Keebler Estate is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the history of northeast Tennessee!
