Happy March!! ☘️
2 mile run 3:59-4:16am
Morning prayer & workout 4:19-6:16am
Blessed to start my day with Day 1! Today marks 4 years in The Villages. We came here broken. Not knowing what was next. Not the best versions of ourselves by any means. Today marks 4 years without ci******es, alcohol & drugs. Today marks 4 years of my parents helping us become better versions of ourselves. To say I’m grateful for them is an understatement. Covid for us gave us the opportunity to discover pickleball. Pickleball made us want to get healthy. Getting healthy lead us to church. Thru pickleball we found God, then Jesus Christ. To say we have been on a crazy journey is an understatement. Every day now I get up and run 2 miles, pray, and workout. That’s what I have to give God at this point. That’s my covenant with God. My heart is full knowing I’m made in his image. It’s changed my outlook on life & how I treat my body. I feel lucky to have a relationship with God. I know the only reason I have this opportunity is because Jesus took the cross for my sins. Thru this we are working hard to bring pickleball to Greece. Once God speaks to you, you have no choice but to listen & act. This morning the rain started on my last 2 laps. I’m glad I got my run in before the craziest thunder & lightning storm came. I know I am under the protection of God. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Have a blessed Sunday!! I’m ready for church & pancakes.:))Amen🙏
It’s never too late to start! Start your Day1. I start my day by thanking God. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Start every day being grateful, say it out loud. For me it started as 10 min a day along with playing pickleball.
I’m grateful for this journey & purpose we have, and I’m blessed to share it with my husband. By no means is it easy, it’s the best hard work of my life.
ALL YOU NEED IS A MAT & BALL. Start slow, but do it every day.
What are you willing to do everyday for the rest of your life? Start every day by being grateful for all you have. God bless. Amen
